Hello friends!!! Today’s post was so much fun to put together because I had the great pleasure of collaboration with Lenox to bring you this festive and wintry table featuring their new Alpine collection which made its debut this holiday season.
As many of you know, my decorating style gravitates towards all things delicate and soft but when I saw this stunning winter white collection, I couldn’t help being captivated by its beauty and rustic elegance. Maybe it is because I am always struck by the artistry and aesthetic sensibility in a design and this collection offers abundant beauty, plentiful pieces, and a practical way to make everyday meals feel special all winter long. I know that these wintry snowflake plates will be dressing my table all season long! And can you blame me? This entire collection is pure delight. Just looking at it makes me smile…
When I first saw this collection, I envisioned hosting a dinner in a cozy cabin or cottage in the woods. Winter greens, dark woods and gold tones came to mind. A creative and unexpected color palette that is fresh and one that brings these visually stunning plates to life.
What I love about this new collection is that it can work with pieces that you already own. It is great for everyday use and the wooden bowl and candlesticks can be used all year.
Fortunately, I already had the beaded gold chargers, flatware and brown chargers. They are pieces that I have acquired through the years and are frequently used through the year. The majestic reindeer makes an impressive display without feeling overwhelming.
On my table I have the Alpine 3-piece Wooden Salad bowl set that includes two wooden spoons. This bowl is massive and absolutely gorgeous. It is so versatile!! It can be used for serving salads, pasta, vegetables or whatever you wish. The bowl has a carved pattern that evoke the branches of a pine tree.
I am so pleased with the way this table turned out. It is festive, inviting and sophisticated.
I love my table to be the life of the party, dressed in lots of layers, patterns and styles. I enjoy mixing modern with traditional and keeping things casual and not so regimented.
As festive and fanciful as this table looks, you do not need to break the bank to achieve a similar look. You can buy a piece or two to add to your own collection. Shop carefully, wisely, be creative and have fun!!!!
Happy tablescaping sweet friends.
