Easy Soft Tone Spring Tablescape

Happy Sunday friends! With Spring just a few weeks away, I can’t help but think of cheerful fresh flowers, Spring gatherings, and soft color palettes.  It’s a season full of brand new possibilities and lots of pretty spring tables.  Which means that I get to create lots of spring inspired tablescapes in the next few weeks!

Building a beautiful Spring or Easter tablescape does not have to be a big production.  In fact, it’s a fun way to incorporate sweet pastel tones, seasonal flowers, and lots of spring feels onto the table.  So today, I am going to be showing that putting a  Spring or Easter tablescape takes just a few minutes.

Building a Beautiful Soft Tone
Spring Tablescape

Like any styled table, the secret to putting together a table in a matter of minutes, is having a few basics on hand and layering, layering, and more layering.  I don’t believe that you have to have a different place-setting for each and every holiday or turn of the season. How many of us have that kind of space?  Using your everyday place-settings keeps things simple and easy.

Invest in a few fun table runners and napkins in a mix of colors and designs.  For example, I started with this cheerful powder blue and cream check table runner and ruffled place mats from Pier 1 and mixed in these classic soft tone blue napkins.  Along with simple neutral tone everyday dinnerware that can be used all year long.

You’ll also spot some silvery pieces on the table like my vintage silver-plate flatware, and mercury candle holder.  In addition, I added some fun farmhouse drinking goblets, and fresh blooms in the form of pink tulips and spray roses. For an extra touch of spring, I added a single pink tulip at each place setting.

The centerpiece came together in about 5 minutes.  All I did was use store bought tulips and spray roses and placed them in a chippy galvanized bucket from Hobby Lobby that I already had.  Just be sure to insert a glass vase with water in the bucket before adding your flowers.  The soft pink tones really brightens it up and adds a feminine touch.

You know how much I love to create a pretty table and I have to say, I absolutely adore how this one turned out!  It definitely has all the Spring vibes!

Stay tuned for more Spring and Easter inspiration to come in the next couple of weeks.  Thank you for spending a few minutes here with me.

Enjoy your week,
